每一期里面可能会有许多重复出现的词汇可以帮助大家巩固。

注！：视频中有许多的球员名字，在词汇板块后有一个球员“百科全书”，如果里面有不认识或者忘记的球员和其名字请在里面寻找。但由于我的才疏学浅可能会有错误，如果你看出可以在评论区指出，谢谢。
词汇板块：（注：里面会有英语和中文释译，我的建议是请大家注重理解英语释译，去感受英语词汇，把中文当成更好更快理解的工具，而不是直接只记住中文的释译，这样的话可以更好的培养英语思维）英语解释大部分来自朗文词典。
1.fragment：名词（noun）
英语解释：a small piece of something that has broken off or that comes from something larger
中文解释：碎片，碎块；片断
例子：We were't going to fragment.
我们不会成为碎块。意思就是我们不会不团结的意思。
2.Barclays Premier League：就是英超的意思
注：英格兰足球超级联赛（英语：Premier League），通常简称英超，2004年巴克莱银行成为英超的赞助商，冠名为巴克莱超级联赛（Barclays Premier League），是英格兰足球总会属下的职业足球联赛，是英格兰联赛系统的最高等级联赛。
3build-up：名词（noun）
英语解释： a description of someone or something before an event, in which you say they are very special or important
中文解释：〔预先的〕舆论宣传，吹捧，造势
4.nerve-wrackinng：形容词（adj）
英语解释：a nerve-racking situation makes you feel very nervous or worried
中文解释：令人紧张的；令人不安的
3、4的例子：That build-up was certainly nerve-wracking.
在视频中的意思就是曼城和女王公园巡游者的比赛前舆论的压力让人感到十分紧张。
5.relegate：动词（verb）
英语解释：（British English） if a sports team is relegated, it is moved into a lower division
中文解释：将〔运动队〕降级
例子：The QPR played for relegation（这里是名词形式）
女王公园巡游者为保级而战。
6.ex-：前缀（prefix）
英语解释：former and still living
中文解释：以前的，前任的〔指仍然在世的〕
例子：ex-city players
就是前曼城球员的意思（这里的city指的就是Manchester City曼城）
7.dressing room：就是更衣室的意思
8.box：名词（noun）
英语解释：a special area of a sports field that is marked by lines and used for a particular purpose
中文解释：〔运动场上用线划定的〕区，特定区域
例子：the penalty box
可以表达为足球场上的禁区的意思
9.team sheet：是队伍名单的意思（sheet可以是纸的意思）
10.home advantage：可以表达为主场优势的意思
11.title：名词（noun）
英语解释：the position of being the winner of an important sports competition
中文解释：〔重大体育比赛中的〕冠军
例子：Premier League title：英超冠军的意思
12.kickoff：名词（noun）
英语解释：the time when a football game starts, or the first kick of the game
中文解释：〔足球比赛的〕开始时间；开球
例子：Kickoff is at 3.00.
足球比赛3点开始。
13.optimistic：形容词（adj）
英语解释：believing that good things will happen in the future
中文解释：乐观的；乐观主义的
14.subdue：动词（verb）
英语解释：to prevent your emotions from showing or being too strong
中文解释：克制，抑制〔情绪〕
例子：an excitement she could not subdue
她无法抑制的兴奋
15.pessimistic：形容词（adj）
英语解释：expecting that bad things will happen in the future or that something will have a bad result
中文解释：悲观的，悲观主义
例子：a pessimistic view of life
对人生的悲观看法
16.norm：名词（noun）
英语解释：the usual or normal situation, way of doing something etc
中文解释：常态；标准；准则；规范
例子：The dressing room was the norm.
更衣室和往常一样（意思就是大赛当前，更衣室和往常一样没什么区别，大家还是该干嘛干嘛）
17.superstition：名词（noun）
英语解释：a belief that some objects or actions are lucky or unlucky, or that they cause events to happen, based on old ideas of magic
中文解释：迷信
例子：the old superstition that walking under a ladder is unlucky
认为从梯子下面穿过不吉利的古老迷信
