本期的FM君教你唱队歌我们要先介绍一个已故歌手，他的名字叫路易斯·阿姆斯特朗。他是20世纪中期美国非常知名的一位爵士乐歌手、作曲家。最擅长的乐器是小号。

他唱歌的风格非常鲜明，声音比较沙哑而有力量，最著名的歌是《What a wonderful world》。他的生平和足球似乎没有什么关系。我为什么要介绍他呢？因为他的另外一首代表作《When the saints go marching in》被几十个足球俱乐部改编，从苏格兰的爱丁堡到意大利的维罗纳，从西班牙的维戈到瑞典的斯德哥尔摩，从加拿大的温哥华到巴西的圣保罗，都有球队以这首歌为曲调改编或者直接拿来作为了队歌或者是助威歌曲。这首歌的曲调在足球比赛中出现的频率是全世界最高的，没有之一。

这首歌为什么说是神曲呢？因为它太火了，而且超级好听。火到什么程度？大到摇滚明星、军乐队，小到平民百姓，都有翻唱过这首歌，甚至还有过很多明星同台合唱这首歌的盛况。所以说这首歌，可以说是上古级神曲。我在这里贴出这首歌三个不同版本的翻唱，分别是演唱会版、合唱版以及军乐队版，大家来慢慢欣赏一下。

这首歌的原版节奏很慢，比较舒缓，听起来一点也不像足球队队歌。为此，很多球队在改编这首歌的时候，把节奏提高。
有哪些球队改编了这首歌作为诸位歌曲呢？我查了相关资料，让我感到吃惊的是，这首歌，竟然被几十个俱乐部改编成了诸位歌曲。怎么改编的呢？
大多数的球队以这句歌词“Oh, when the saints go marching in”为基础，改编成助威歌曲。改编的方法很简单，将“Saints”或者“Marching”替换，像这样改编歌曲的球队特别多。

还有的俱乐部，根本不对这首歌做出任何改动，直接拿来做助威曲，比如曼联、米德尔斯堡、利兹联、维戈塞尔塔、帕尔梅拉斯、AIK索尔纳、诺维奇、圣约翰斯通、圣帕特里克。此外，美式足球（新奥尔良圣徒）、橄榄球（北安普顿圣徒）、澳洲足球、冰球等其他体育项目的运动队也有用这首歌做助威曲的现象。
有一家足球俱乐部，也同样没有把这首歌做出变动，然而他们的球迷并没有把他简单地只是当作助威曲，而是直接拿来当作了队歌！这家俱乐部是英格兰的南安普顿足球俱乐部。
南安普顿绰号“圣徒”，球队格言是“We March On.”把这首歌拿来做队歌简直是天作之合。但是呢，这首歌的歌词太冗长了，直接唱不方便，歌名也很长，南安普顿球迷将路易斯·阿姆斯特朗的这首歌进行了简化，突出“Saints”这一元素。南安普顿的队歌就这样诞生了，它叫《Oh when the Saints》。
